Inspired by both Marissa's 365 photo challenge as well as an overwhelming desire to do more shit, I have decided to start my own project. Because I am simply not capable of a 365, as I discovered earlier this year, I am going to start a year-long reading list. I'm going to read 40-60 books within the next year. My original plan was 50, but I decided an exact number was tooooo fucking stressful and would make me an OCD bitch. I won't start until I have at least 10 or so books picked out so I need your suggestions! Go!

4.2.10
It seems that the only way I am capable of writing blogs is to just make lists so that is what I am going to do. I am also very tired so this may not make the most sense but whatever. Seriously, so tired, this is going to be ridiculous.
-I have officially gone since Monday without consuming a single drop of coffee. This is awesome. Thanks to denial I have been ignoring the fact that caffeine and I really just do not get along very well. I finally decided my sanity and health are a little more important than my deep love for coffee. I have since been drinking delicious teas in the morning and just ordered cinnamon, lavender and vanilla tea from Harney and Sons. Yum.
-I am going to start doing sedation dentistry. Not sure if this is funny or pathetic.
-Probably taking out my nose piercing fo good. Ova it.
-Visited Southern Oregon University yesterday with my dad. Definitely not...notnotnot the school for me. However, there was the MOST FUCKING AMAZING art installation in their museum that I will not even attempt to explain but in involved tiny pieces of wood constructed into a gigantic structure (two entire rooms) of bridges and ladders and doors and other beautiful things.
-I'm going to start taking pictures again (both digital and film) because I have realized how much I miss it and I feel like there have been so many things happening recently that I want to remember and I feel like if I don't take pictures of those things I am not going to remember them.
-So excited to see the shitstorm that is sure to erupt over pot legalization being on the ballot in November.

Things that are awesome right now and always:
-I got an A on my math midterm! Honestly the most exciting news I have had in weeks. Not so awesome? I have to write a paper on whether I am for or against the death penalty. Of course I have to write a paper on the one political issue I go back and forth on. :/
-http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slacklining
I really, really so badly want to do this. I would kick ass.
-I am signing up to take a garment construction sewing class. I wasn't sure if i wanted to or not because I kind of like not really knowing the "right" way to sew. But I am hoping it is just a bunch of old ladies. Plus maybe now I will be able to open up an Etsy shop.
-I am planning on making mochi at some point this week. I have wanted to for a very long time because I always thought it looked delicious.
Holla.

Since this is the craftybitchblog, I figured it would be appropriate for the first post to be about crafts! So here is a dress I made this week:
Let's see...other things...
I walked in on my mom watching House Bunny yesterday.
I think I might actually be ready for a break from the rain. Even though it is one of my very favorite things, I think it has been bringin' me down a little bit.
I have had absolutely no motivation when it comes to school. Zero.
Simon and Garfunkel's "The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feeling Groovy)" has been the only thing I have wanted to listen to recently.
Nostalgia can be really painful.
All for now!
